Refund and Returns Policy

Posted 22 Jul, 2025

We want you to feel completely confident when ordering from Sober Relief. This policy explains when you can request a return or refund, how returns work, and what your rights are under UK consumer law.

Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Law)

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, provided the product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

This statutory right applies regardless of the reason for return.

We cannot accept returns of opened products for safety and hygiene reasons.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return or refund:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition you received it.
  • It must be in its original packaging.
  • You must contact us within 14 days for statutory returns, or within 30 days for issues related to the product or service received.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Opened or used products (for safety reasons)

When Refunds May Be Granted

You may request a refund within 30 days of purchase if:

  1. You did not receive the product you ordered.
  2. The product you received was damaged on arrival.
  3. The product is not as described.

We may issue partial refunds for:

  • Items returned after 30 days (if accepted)
  • Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error

How Refunds Work

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email whether your refund is approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

If Your Refund is Delayed

If you havenโ€™t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account.
  2. Contact your card provider โ€“ posting refunds may take time.
  3. Contact your bank.
  4. If still unresolved, contact us at info@soberrelief.com.

Sale Items

Sale or discounted items can only be refunded at the price paid.
Items marked as final sale cannot be refunded.

Important Product Safety Notice

For customer safety and product integrity, we cannot accept returns of opened products.
All returned items must remain sealed and unused.
